Cancer research and therapy is undergoing very rapid changes, driven by scientific discovery. Most recent trends are often hard to follow for non-experts. To help lay people get an easy to understand overview on current trends in cancer research, IMP group leaders Anna Obenauf and Hannes Zuber presented recent advances in their field in a lecture that was recorded and now published as a video.

The lecture "Current trends in cancer research" is aimed at a general audience. IMP cancer researchers Anna Obenauf and Johannes Zuber present recent breakthroughs and promising avenues to new cancer therapies in three areas – cancer genomes, genetic tools and immunotherapy.
