Are the buildings of the IMP, IMBA, and the GMI accessible?
As buildings, spaces, and facilities of the IMP, IMBA, and the GMI are shared for events and meetings, the following provides accessibility information for the entire area. The institutes are located in buildings with step-free access at ground level and no ramps. Elevators provide access to all floors and rooms, including seminar rooms and lecture halls. Seminar rooms behind the IMP reception can be accessed using the emergency exit door, which the reception team can open.
IMP Lecture Hall: Headphones for listening to lectures are available. The speaker's area is not wheelchair accessible.
IMBA GMI Lecture Hall: Headphones for listening to lectures are not available. The speaker's area is wheelchair accessible via a separate entrance.
Accessible restrooms are available throughout the building. Nursing rooms are located on the IMBA/GMI ground floor and IMP first floor. Kitchenettes are also available.
First aid kits and a defibrillator are available at the GMI/IMBA and IMP reception desks.
If attending an event, please contact the event organizer with any further accessibility questions so that appropriate arrangements can be made in advance. We are happy to assist.
