A Super-Computer for the IMP
Five years ago, the IMP installed a bioinformatics research group led by Frank Eisenhaber. Now, new hardware has been installed that pushes the institute’s computing capacity to new dimensions. The cluster by Sun Microsystems is the most powerful supercomputer for bioinformatics applications in Austria.
