Max Birnstiel Lecture Series

The IMP has a special seminar series and this is intended to be the highlight of the the seminar calendar. This is a special lecture named after the founding director of the IMP and the highest award that the IMP can give to outside scientists. Each year we recognize the outstanding achievements of around six scientists in the life sciences by inviting them to deliver one of these lectures.
The lectures are normally held on the first Wednesday of the month at 11am. The Max Birnstiel Lectures have already attracted considerable attention on campus and within the wider scientific community and many leading scientists have confirmed their participation.
