On the following pages we would like to provide you an insight into a few topics which have highly influenced the IMP’s scientific development. However, we would like to point out that this little collection is neither a ranking nor a complete list. Our aim is simply to serve some tasty little scientific appetizers and share a bit of our research fascination with you. The author Graham Tebb is a former IMP student who has a rare talent of turning complex scientific facts into exciting and easy to read "stories".
