Younger researchers are in the core of the call. Women are especially encouraged.

Mathematics call

Website

In its “Mathematics and …” thematic program, the WWTF aims to promote scientific projects and endowed chairs in the field of mathematics which pursue an interdisciplinary approach and offer the prospect of medium-term utilisation and exploitation.

One focus is on funding of projects headed by “high potentials”. These are generally young and highly talented scientists who have acquired substantial research experience, also abroad, and who are about to take the next career and development step. In this case, potential candidates are explicitly expected to submit applications themselves.

Duration:  24 - 48 months
Funding:  EUR 200.000 – 800.000 per project
